“Going to college is a big change in your life”, “College will help you grow”, “College years are the best years of your life”... These, and many more, are quotes everyone hears before they are off to college. Well, they are right! College has taught me a lot; academically, of course, but has also given me countless life lessons. The experiences that I gained are priceless. ‘UCSCJourney’ portrays some of my most memorable moments while at University of California at Santa Cruz. The sailboat displayed was mostly built from found steel, fabricated and welded to create a body going through the mild and rough waves of life.
